NEW CAR!!!!!!!

We got a new car! I'm so excited I can hardly stand it! Was our old car still running? Yes. Did it get us from point A to point B? Yes. But with a new little one on the way, it sure is nice to know that we will have plenty of room for two kids and even an extra adult or 2 if we need it. It's also nice to be able to put Emma in and take her out of her car seat without bending over and killing my back. I've even already changed a diaper once and it was so much easier than stooping over.

We wrestled over the decision to get a minivan or an SUV. I had settled into the idea of a minivan until Jonathan came home a few weeks ago and said he thought we could make it with a Hyundai Sante Fe. I was thinking, "There's no way! It doesn't have 3rd row seating." But before I could even get the thought out into words he told me the 2007 models have a 3rd row seat option and they seat 7. Wow. Let's look at them. So we looked on Thursday and bought one on Friday. They didn't have the color I wanted, so they had to get it for me. We drove a white one until yesterday. And finally...our car was here. I have to be honest. I don't know that I've been so excited about a purchase in my life. I want to be careful and not seem as though all I care about in this world are material things, because that is certainly not true. But this car is everything I have ever dreamed about in a car up to this point in my life. Thank you to my husband for indulging me in this purchase. Thank you to God for the means to purchase it. Thank you again to my husband for spending his birthday negotiating trade ins and signing all kinds of paperwork.

Wow! That surely looks nice! Can't believe it has three rows of seats. I'm so glad you have a nicer vehicle. Every time I rode in your other car I often wondered if we'd make it going and coming home. How many times did I tell Grampie, "I can't wait until Nicole has a more reliable vehicle... one to make it easier on her." Thank the Lord He has provided for you! The color is pretty, too! Can't wait to see it at the beach.

Love you guys lots and lots.

Yay!!! An update!!! And I too love that beauty of a machine! Josh and I are quickly approaching the market for a new vehicle and I constantly go back and forth on the suv-sudan debate. How's the gas mileage???

What a sporty ride! Patrick and I have been talking about getting a new vehicle, too. Both of our cars have over 120K miles and we should at LEAST have an idea of what we want before we actually buy. We've tossed around the "M" word (that's minivan) and I think Patrick is warming up to the idea if we keep the Explorer rather than the Maxima. So many possibilities! I happy for you, though.

Praise The Lord--I have absolutely prayed myself down hoping that God would provide the three of you with a reliable, safe ride. I did not fill safe for you or anyone else in the Maxda for quite a while.God is good all the time and all the time He is good.
