Honestly?!

How hard is it to steam broccoli?! 1 out of 3 times I let the water evaporate and scorch it...today was one of those 1 out of 3 times. *rolling eyes*

They make bags now for steaming veggies in the microwave. Maybe that will help. :)

Probably as hard as it is to keep enough water in the beans while they cook so they don't burn and smell up the whole house. I can't even count how many times I've done that!

I guess it's a good thing someone thought up a way to steam it in the bag found in the frozen section of the grocery store. We used to have to put it in a pot of water... now all you do is pop it in the microwave and voila! steamed broccoli! Easy as pie!

I have heard that you can put a jar lid in the bottom with the water so that it rattles - no rattle, no water, but does it work? I'm great at scorching popcorn and those black spots just have to wear off the pans!

Thanks for the comment on MY blog, so I popped over here thinking that maybe you were blogging again ;) I thought of you last week when I scorched my green beans, my initial reaction was to say something nasty, then I laughed remembering your post!
