$300 to fix or $215-$400 for new?!?!

Ok...so the motor is out on the washing machine. To replace it, it will cost almost $300. I can get a NEW WASHING MACHINE FOR $218! I would rather pay up to $400 for a new washer than $300 for one with no warranty left that may have to be fixed again. Jonathan agrees that a new machine is the better investment, so I guess we're in the new washer market...

Get a new one it will be cheaper in the long run and soo less stressful. Sorry that your rushing home from women's bible study wasn't as fruitful (or at least as clean) as you had hoped.

Jonathan, you owned a PORSCHE?!

Wow, we still have so much to learn about the Kellys....

I could see Jonathan driving a Porsche. I had a Porshcia...er...Corsica...not as impressive, though.

Happy hunting in the washer market. I bought a washer from Lowes about 4 years ago for around $350. It's really loud now...something must be going on with a something-or-other inside, but it still works. Good luck!

Oh, the washer woes! I've never had one that only lasted a few years like that. My GE's have lasted, and lasted, and LASTED! But when they go it's never convenient! Maybe we can come down and help Jon install a new one and get rid of the old one.
