Pantene Beautiful Lengths...

...is the first campaign of it's kind. It's the "...first in the country to encourage women and men to grow, cut and donate their healthy hair to make wigs for women [not children] who have lost their hair due to cancer treatments." Unlike Locks of Love, Pantene Beautiful Lengths only requires 8 inches of hair. I've wanted to dontate my hair for a long time, but wasn't sure I could make the 10 inch committment that Locks of Love requires. My friend Joanne told me about Pantene! I was so excited and today I bit the bullet and did it!! I was excited to get my hair cut (it's been driving me CRAZY) and to be able to donate it! I can wear it straight, curled under, flipped up or "shaggy short". :-P Here are some pictures:

BEFORE...

AFTER (it's shorter in the back, angled to the front)...

It's really cute, Nicole! It's really neat to donate your hair. A little girl at our church is going to do that soon, too. She is really excited about it!
Your house is really pretty. I especially like the blue on the outside. Packing should be fun with 2 little ones!
Love Ya'll,

Oh my word!! That's a stinkin' lot of hair!!! Do you just mail it in or what?

I know you must be loving your sassy new 'do!

Yep, you put it in a ziplock bag, then an envelope and mail it in! The website gives all the directions. :-)

I've always wanted to donate min, too. Good for you for doing it. I like the short, sassy do, too. I am growing mine out for my upcoming bridesmaid season and then I might chop it off, too.

Nic,
It looks great and I am so proud of you for coming up with a way to directly help other women. Especially those who have cancer. Thank you for making a difference.

I love you,

Nicole,

I love it! Cute and sassy but elegant, too.

Thanks for the info on the web site. I decided to cut mine and send it in, too. I haven't decided how short I'm going to go but I'm definitely taking off at least the 8 inches. How did you decide on the new cut? Where did you have it done?

I love the new pictures of the girls, too. They are so adorable. Congratulations on your new house, too.

I love your short haircut, Nicole. It looks great. I bet you feel lighter and cooler! Perfect for summer that's a comin'. And some fortunate woman is going to get a gorgeous head of hair in a time she'll need some encouragement.
